First Serve
Midwestern State clashes with a pair of top-10 foes, taking on 10th-ranked Indianapolis and eighth-ranked West Florida on Friday and Saturday in San Antonio. First serve in both matches is slated for 9:30 a.m.
 
Linn Nears Win No. 300 in the Maroon and Gold
Scott Linn enters his ninth season at the helm of the men's and women's tennis programs, needing 15 wins for his 300th overall win at MSU Texas. The East Central graduate has posted a 285-124 (.697) combined record with the Mustangs, including a 148-62 (.705) mark with the women's program. He needs 222 wins to match Larry Wiggins (1995-2010) program record of 507.
 
MSU Texas Approaches 500th Program Win
Midwestern State is nine wins away from its 500th win in program history. The Mustangs 491-328-3 (.599) would become the seventh MSU Texas program to eclipse the 500 win plateau.

Mustangs Up to No. 14 in ITA Poll
Midwestern State moved up one spot to No. 14 in the latest Oracle/ITA women's team rankings. The Mustangs carry the highest ranking in the South Central Region, ahead of No. 21 St. Mary's and No. 23 Tarleton State.
 
Lazzarotto Goes For Doubles Record
Senior Greta Lazzarotto is one win away from matching Brooke Gray's (2000-03) program record of 78 wins. The senior boasts a 77-10 career mark in doubles, including a 37-5 mark at the No. 2 flight.
 
Lazzarotto is 13 combined wins away from passing Lacey Wuthrich (2002-05) for the most all time at 138.
 
Coffman Break No. 1 Doubles Record
Senior Maddy Coffman passed her sister Taylor for the most No. 1 doubles wins in program history. The Flower Mound native broke the record against Metro State on Saturday with partner Casie Curry. Overall Coffman owns a 49-10 career mark in doubles.
