Midwestern State opens the 2019 regular season with a top-15 matchup against No. 14 Northeastern State on Saturday at the MSU Tennis Center. First serve against the Riverhawks is slated for 2 p.m.

NSU journeys to Wichita Falls ranked No. 14 in the Oracle/ITA DII women's tennis rankings following a 20-5 campaign and a trip to the national quarterfinals last season…junior Tatjana Stoll enters the match ranked No. 33 in singles…Stoll is coming off a 21-3 season in 2018, all at the No. 1 flight with 10 wins against nationally ranked opponents…senior Mayra Jovic went 18-0 last season, going 6-0 at No. 2 and 12-0 at No. 3 singles…senior Karla Tomaic and Jovic paired off in doubles, earning a 15-7 record, going 6-4 at No. 1 and 9-3 at No. 2…

Linn Nears Win No. 300 in the Maroon and Gold
Scott Linn enters his ninth season at the helm of the men's and women's tennis programs, needing 26 wins for his 300
th overall win at MSU Texas. The East Central graduate has posted a 274-124 (.688) combined record with the Mustangs, including a 143-62 (.698) mark with the women's program. He needs 230 wins to match Larry Wiggins (1995-2010) program record of 507.

MSU Texas Approaches 500th Program Win
Midwestern State is 14 wins away from its 500
th win in program history. The Mustangs 486-328-3 (.597) would become the seventh MSU Texas program to eclipse the 500 win plateau.

MSU Texas returns All-Americans
Maddy Coffman and
Ashley Ramirez along with
Bianca Duff,
Greta Lazzarotto and
Ashley Ramirez for the 2019 campaign. The quintet have combined for a 157-67 (.701) record in their time with the Maroon and Gold in singles and a 209-37 (.850) record in doubles.

The Mustangs added four new faces to the 2019 roster. Junior
Lea Cizeron joins MSU Texas from Arkansas-Fort Smith. Freshman
Casie Curry and sophomore
Taylor Gray are hometown products out of Rider HS. Gray returns to Wichita Falls after spending a season at Missouri State. Junior
Juliette Mary dons the Maroon and Gold after spending her first two seasons at Eastern Arizona.
