PORTALES, New Mexico – No. 13 Midwestern State tries to snap a two-game losing streak on Saturday against Lone Star Conference foe Eastern New Mexico. Kickoff from Portales is scheduled for 7 p.m. central time.

SERIES HISTORY
Midwestern State owns a 23-2-3 record against Eastern New Mexico and has won the last six meetings. The Maroon and Gold began the series with 15-straight victories.
 
ALL GOOD THINGS MUST COME TO AN END
Hikaruhito Meike's five match point streak ended on Thursday night. The senior scored five goals and added two assists during the streak.
 
LOSING STREAK
Midwestern State has dropped back-to-back regular season contests for the first time since 2013. MSU has not dropped three straight regular season games since a pair of three-game losing streaks during the 1997 season. Since 1997, MSU is 9-0 in games following consecutive losses.
 
IN THE RANKINGS
Midwestern State slid eight spots to No. 13 in the latest United Soccer Coaches poll that was released on Tuesday. The Mustangs have appeared in the last 60 USC rankings as a ranked side dating back to the 2014 season and have received votes in the last 72 rankings dating back to 2013.
 
A MINUTE WITH MEACHUM
Michael Meachum kicked off his second year as Head Coach at Midwestern State with a 2-0 win over Dixie State on September 5 at Stang Park. Meachum posted a 16-1-3 mark in his first season at the helm.
 
SCOUTING THE GREYHOUNDS
Eastern New Mexico enters play on a two-game skid after a 3-2 loss to Oklahoma Christian on Thursday night. The Greyhounds have dropped four of their last six. Joe Conway has a team-best 15 points (six goals, three assists) while Julian Trapp has recorded five goals and two assists.
