CONWAY CREATING CHANCES
Adam Conway ran his point streak to two games with an assist in Thursday's 4-2 win over Lubbock Christian. The sophomore defender leads the team with three goals and is second on the club with seven points. Conway has anchored an MSU defense that has posted five shutouts this season.
 
VENEGAS VICTIMIZING DEFENSES
Sebastian Venegas earned two assists in Thursday's win in Lubbock. The reigning Lone Star Conference Offensive Player of the Week has two goals and three assists over his last three games and leads the Mustangs with eight points.

LAMPE LIGHTS UP RECORD BOOKS
Taylor Lampe broke the program record for career shutouts with the 22 clean sheet of his career last Saturday against then No. 4 West Texas A&M. Lampe passed Raul Herrera (2005, 2009-2010).

IN THE RANKINGS
MSU Texas catapulted six spots to No. 13 in the latest United Soccer Coaches poll that was released on Tuesday. The Mustangs have appeared in the last 56 USC rankings as a ranked side dating back to the 2014 season and have received votes in the last 68 rankings dating back to 2013.
 
A MINUTE WITH MEACHUM
Michael Meachum kicked off his second year as Head Coach at Midwestern State with a 2-0 win over Dixie State on September 5 at Stang Park. Meachum posted a 16-1-3 mark in his first season at the helm.
 
SCOUTING THE FALCONS

UT Permian Basin has struggled out of the gates this season, compiling a 2-6 mark through the first eight games. The Falcons were crushed by Oklahoma Christian on Thursday night 5-0 and have dropped four straight. Salvador Vargas Ramos and Jakob Beschel lead the team with two goals apiece.
