SERIES HISTORY
This is just the second ever meeting between Midwestern State and Lubbock Christian and the first since MSU came away with a 2-1 win on September 19, 2014.

CALL IT A STREAK
For the first time under Head Coach Ryan Spence, the Midwestern State Women's soccer team has won back-to-back games. MSU blanked Texas A&M International 3-0 on October 12 before earning their first home win of the season last Thursday with a 3-1 win against Oklahoma Christian.

CLUTCH CANNISTRA
Kelly Cannistra recorded two goals, including the game-winner in last Thursday's win over Oklahoma Christian. It was the junior's first goals since she scored in back-to-back games to open the year. Cannistra is tied with Sara Machado for the team lead in goals (4) and points (9).

PETTETT PITCHING IN
Goalkeeper Aubrey Pettett earned the first clean sheet of her MSU career on October 12. The sophomore has surrendered just five goals over her last five games, helping MSU to a 2-3 mark.

SPENDING TIME WITH SPENCE
Ryan Spence opened his second season as the Head Coach of the Midwestern State Women's Soccer team with a 3-2 overtime win over New Mexico Highlands on September 6. In his first year in charge, the Mustangs finished 2-13-3 and 1-9-2 in Lone Star Conference action, earning a trip to the quarterfinals in the LSC Postseason Tournament.

SCOUTING THE LADY CHAPS
Lubbock Christian has posted consecutive shutout wins after a 1-1 draw against St. Edward's on October 12. Haley Knesek, Celia Duarte, and Allison Scott have formed a three-headed monster for LCU, with Knesek tallying seven goals and five assists, Duarte recording six goals and six assists, and Scott adding seven goals and three assists. In net, Hannah Wise has posted a 0.92 goals against average. With eight wins already this season, the Lady Chaps are just one win away from tying last year's win total.
