SERIES HISTORY
MSU has posted a 10-5 mark against Southwestern Oklahoma State and has won the last five meetings. This is the first meeting between the two schools since MSU won 3-1 on September 9, 2015.

Lauren Honeycutt has hit at least .300 in each of her last four matches and five of her last six. The sophomore also tied a career-high with seven blocks against UT Tyler on October 18.
 
SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
Southwestern Oklahoma State rolls into Wichita Falls on a five-game winning streak after downing Harding, 3-1, on October 19. The Bulldogs, who play in the Great American Conference (GAC), are 0-3 against Lone Star Conference schools this season (Lost 3-0 to Lubbock Christian, Lost 3-0 to UT Permian Basin, and Lost 3-2 to Texas A&M-Kingsville). Maicee Morgan leads SWOSU with 235 kills (3.41 kills/set). 
 
COACH'S CORNER
Valerie Armstrong began her second season as Head Coach of the Midwestern State Volleyball team with a thrilling five-set win over Western State (Colorado) on September 6. In her first season at the helm, the Mustangs posted a 5-23 record and a 3-17 mark in the Lone Star Conference.
