SERIES HISTORY
Texas A&M-Commerce holds a 26-15 edge over Midwestern State and defeated the Mustangs 3-1 earlier this season. MSU has dropped five straight matches to the Lions and eight of the last nine meetings.
 
BLOCK PARTY
Midwestern State recorded 16 blocks in Friday night's 3-2 win over UT Tyler. Lauren Honeycutt logged seven blocks while Sarah Eakin collected six blocks.
 
GHOLSON'S GOT GAME
Rockelle Gholson exploded for 11 kills and 21 digs on Friday night to notch her fifth double-double of the season. It was Gholson's first match since September 28.
 
SCOUTING THE LIONS
No. 25 Texas A&M-Conference improved to 15-4 on the season with a 3-2 win over Texas Woman's University on Friday night. The nationally ranked Lions have won five straight and 10 of 11. The Lions won the first meeting, 3-1.
 
COACH'S CORNER
Valerie Armstrong began her second season as Head Coach of the Midwestern State Volleyball team with a thrilling five-set win over Western State (Colorado) on September 6. In her first season at the helm, the Mustangs posted a 5-23 record and a 3-17 mark in the Lone Star Conference.
