WICHITA FALLS, Texas – After a 3-0 win over Texas A&M International last Saturday that snapped a seven game slide, Midwestern State hosts Oklahoma Christian on Thursday looking for their first two-game winning streak of the season. Match time is slated for 7 p.m.
 
SERIES HISTORY
MSU is 6-0 against all-time against Oklahoma Christian and has outscored the Eagles, 23-3. Five of the Mustangs' six wins have come via a shutout. This is the first meeting between the two sides since MSU won 6-0 on September 16, 2014.
 
MACHADO MAKING THINGS HAPPEN
Sara Machado recorded her first career multi-goal game last Saturday, helping the Mustangs to a 3-0 win. The junior leads MSU with four goals and eight points.  
 
PETTETT PITCHING IN
Goalie Aubrey Pettett posted her first clean sheet of the season in Saturday's victory over Texas A&M International. The sophomore has allowed just four goals over her last four games.
 
SPENDING TIME WITH SPENCE
Ryan Spence opened his second season as the Head Coach of the Midwestern State Women's Soccer team with a 3-2 overtime win over New Mexico Highlands on September 6. In his first year in charge, the Mustangs finished 2-13-3 and 1-9-2 in Lone Star Conference action, earning a trip to the quarterfinals in the LSC Postseason Tournament.
 
SCOUTING THE EAGLES
Oklahoma Christian began the season with nine straight losses before breaking the slide with a 2-1 win over Texas A&M International. OC dropped their next match to St. Mary's, 4-1, and heads to Wichita Falls at 1-10 on the season. The Eagles have been shutout in seven of their 10 losses and have scored just six goals all year. OC is led offensively by Carson Hazel, who has two goals.

The Mustangs continue their three game home stand on Thursday, October 24 against Lubbock Christian. Match time is 5 p.m.
