OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – No. 6 Midwestern State battles Oklahoma Christian for the second time this season on Thursday night in Oklahoma City. MSU won the first meeting, 3-0. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.

The Mustangs have dominated the series against Oklahoma Christian, posting a 15-0-1 mark that includes this season's 3-0 win in Wichita Falls. MSU has held the Eagles to one goal or less in all 16 meetings.

Sebastian Venegas extended his point streak to five games with a second half assist against UT Tyler. The redshirt junior has registered three goals and four assists during the streak.

Midwestern State inched closer to a top five spot, moving up three places to No. 6 in the latest United Soccer Coaches poll that was released on Tuesday. The Mustangs have appeared in the last 58 USC rankings as a ranked side dating back to the 2014 season and have received votes in the last 70 rankings dating back to 2013.
A MINUTE WITH MEACHUM
Michael Meachum kicked off his second year as Head Coach at Midwestern State with a 2-0 win over Dixie State on September 5 at Stang Park. Meachum posted a 16-1-3 mark in his first season at the helm.
SCOUTING THE EAGLES
After a 2-1 OT loss to UT Tyler, their second straight overtime defeat, Oklahoma Christian enters Thursday's matchup at 4-5 on the season. Diego Vazquez leads OC in virtually every offensive category, including goals (three), assists (three), points (nine), and shots (18). The Eagles, who are looking to avoid their first three-game losing streak of the year, fell 3-0 to MSU earlier this season.
