LAREDO, Texas – Following their seventh straight loss, a 1-0 overtime setback to St. Mary's, Midwestern State tries to get back on track on Saturday against Texas A&M International. Match time is set for 1 p.m.
 
SERIES HISTORY
MSU is a perfect 5-0 against Texas A&M International and has outscored the Dustdevils, 27-1. Four of the five wins by the Mustangs have come via a shutout.
 
PETTETT PITCHING IN
Sophomore goalie Aubrey Pettett has recorded at least four saves in three consecutive matches. Pettett has allowed just four goals over her last three games, but is 0-3 during the stretch as the Mustangs have been shutout in all three games.
 
STUCK IN NEUTRAL

After a season opening win over New Mexico Highlands, the Mustangs have gone winless over their last nine games (0-8-1) and have lost seven straight.
 
SPENDING TIME WITH SPENCE
Ryan Spence opened his second season as the Head Coach of the Midwestern State Women's Soccer team with a 3-2 overtime win over New Mexico Highlands on September 6. In his first year in charge, the Mustangs finished 2-13-3 and 1-9-2 in Lone Star Conference action, earning a trip to the quarterfinals in the LSC Postseason Tournament.
 
SCOUTING THE DUSTDEVILS
Texas A&M International dropped a 2-1 contest to Oklahoma Christian on Thursday to fall to 2-5-1 on the season. The Dustdevils have been outscored 21-13 by their opponents this season. Vivian Martinez and Maddison Schofield pack a 1-2 punch for TAMIU, with each player scoring four goals.

The Mustangs begin a three match homestand on October 17 against Oklahoma Christian. Match time is set for 7 p.m.
