WICHITA FALLS, Texas – Midwestern State concludes a four-match road swing this weekend with a showdown against Texas Woman's on Friday and 25^th-ranked Texas A&M-Commerce on Saturday. MSU Texas aims to snap a nine-match losing streak at 6 p.m. on Friday in Denton.

Shot of Youth
Of the 12 players to see action through the first 10 matches of the season, 10 are underclassmen, including six freshmen. Juniors Sarah Eakin and Erin Richburg are the lone upperclassmen on the roster. MSU Texas freshmen are responsible for 48 percent of all the team's kills, 45 percent of the team's points and 31 percent of the total digs. Additionally, underclassmen have contributed 363 of the team's 531 total points.
 
Cook/Richburg Hit Milestones
Junior Erin Richburg collected her 300^th career kill in Saturday's match against Western New Mexico. Redshirt freshman Addy Cook recorded her 100^th kill of the season on Saturday against Western New Mexico. The Bowie product has at least five kills in all but two matches this season.
 
Glawe Hands Out No. 500
Redshirt sophomore Sarah Glawe set a season-high with 36 assists against the Mustangs on Saturday. In doing so, she came up with her 500^th-career assist. The Allen native is averaging 5.71 assists per set this season.
 
Throwing a Block Party
The Mustangs are averaging 1.8 blocks per set nearing the midway point of the regular season. Junior Sarah Eakin anchors the defense with 1.05 blocks per set, including seven solo blocks while freshman Lauren Honeycutt (0.68), sophomore Raven Presley (0.66) and freshman Natalie Fruend (0.60) average better than a half block per set.
 
Eakin and Presley Among Program's Best
Junior Sarah Eakin and sophomore Raven Presley are among the best blockers in program history. Eakin ranks third in MSU Texas history with 0.99 blocks per set, followed closely by Presley with a 0.95 career average.
 
The duo is chasing former standout Lauren Bayer (2009-10) who averaged 1.14 blocks per set in two seasons in the Maroon and Gold.
