THE RUNDOWN
WICHITA FALLS, Texas – Juniors Connor Cesar and Koby Sapon-Amoah drilled a pair of second half goals in a 2-0 win over UT Tyler in Michael Meachum's debut.

In the 63rd-minute, redshirt junior Sergio Lara lobbed in a corner kick to the top of the box. Junior Juan Alvarez chipped it to Cesar in front of the right-post before the Birmingham, England, hit a low shot to the far post, beating Patriots keeper, Parker O'Quin.

With 2:47 to play, Sapon-Amoah broke free down the center of the pitch and fired from 10 yards out to finalized the score line.

The Mustangs had success getting into their set pieces, attempting 15 corner kicks, the most in the last three seasons and limited the Patriots to three shots over the 90-minute stretch.

Sophomore Taylor Lampe collected his ninth career shutout as the Mustangs back line limited UTT to three shots on the night.
