th-ranked MSU Texas welcomes first-year program Angelo State to the confines of the MSU Tennis Center on Friday, March 9 at 1 p.m. The Mustangs (1-4) are coming off a 1-2 week with both losses coming to top-20 opponents in 5-4 setbacks. After winning the Lone Star Conference's regular season and tournament championships, MSU continues league play against the Rambelles aiming for its first LSC win of the season.

COFFMAN KEEPS ROLLING: After dropping her season-opening match against St. Mary's, junior
Maddy Coffman has rattled off four-straight wins, including an upset of Central Oklahoma's 29
th-ranked Alli Hodges, 6-3, 6-0, last weekend. The Flower Mound native improved to 26-5 overall in singles after matching the program record with 22 wins in 2017. In pairs play, Coffman owns a 3-2 record, pairing up with
Ashley Ramirez most recently. Last weekend, the duo went 2-1 at the No. 1 line.

LAZZAROTTO CLIMBING THE CHARTS: Senior
Greta Lazzarotto is making her way up the record book for the Mustangs. The senior currently owns the second best doubles winning percentage in program history, claiming 85.2 percent of her matches in pairs play, behind only Paige Boykin's record of 86.1 percent set from 2014-15. The Italian earned her 50
th-career doubles win against Southwest Baptist and is tied with Kristen Bixby (1997-00) for the 10
th-most doubles wins in program history. Lazzarotto is five wins away from climbing into the top-15 in combined career wins.

BACK IN THE SADDLE: Senior
Daria Panferova made her return to the courts last Thursday against Southwest Baptist after being sidelined with an injury through the early portion of the season. The Russian opened the year ranked No. 20 in the Oracle/ITA rankings after a 14-8 singles campaign last season.

RING MY BELL: Angelo State journeys to Wichita Falls for the first time in program history after adding the women's tennis program this past offseason. The Rambelles are led by sophomore Maria Delgadillo in singles, posting a 5-1 mark at the No. 2 line. Freshman Ena Ovcina and Delgadillo team up in doubles to lead the squad with a 5-1 record at No. 1.
