WICHITA, Kan. – Oklahoma Christian's Addy Clift hit a pull-up jumper with 1.3 seconds to play to cap a 24-point performance as the Eagles defeated Midwestern State, 76-75, in the season opener.
With the Mustangs up, 75-74, the Eagles inbounded the ball to Clift who drove the lane and hit a pull-up jumper from the right block to stun the Maroon and Gold.

Hannah Reynolds prayer at the buzzer went unanswered to stick the Mustangs with a season-opening loss for the second straight season.
Reynolds finished with 13 points and a game-high nine rebounds while senior guard
Chelcie Kizart had a stellar all-around performance with a team-high 15 points, eight rebounds and four assists. Junior Liz Cathcart added 14 points and four boards, going a perfect 8-for-8 from the charity stripe.
The Mustangs dominated the Eagles on the glass, outrebounding OC by 13 (39-26), but only converted 17 offensive boards into nine second chance points.
OC burned MSU Texas from 3-point land, connecting on 14-of-25 (56.0 percent) from deep while the Mustangs went just 5-of-21 (23.8 percent).
MSU Texas had its chance to put the game away. Leading by one with under 10 seconds to go, the Mustangs were unable to get a shot off and attempt to extend the advantage. OC advanced the ball on the timeout leading to Clift's game winner.
OC's Katie Mayo scored 14 points and snared five rebounds while Maddison Collyer added 11 points and six assists for the Eagles to compliment the offense.
