THE RUNDOWN
WICHITA FALLS, Texas – Four players scored in double figures as Midwestern State dished out 14 assists in an 80-75 win over Rogers State at D.L. Ligon Coliseum on Friday.

Senior guard Darius Thompson (15 points), junior guard Josh Wallace (14 points), junior forward Bishop Coulter (12 points) and senior guard JaJuan Starks (12 points) all produced on the offensive end.

Wallace helped set the table for an offense that shot just under 40 percent for the game (39.6) with four of the Mustangs' 14 dimes.

Junior forward Gilbert Thomas led MSU Texas on the glass with 10 rebounds and nine points.

Leading 76-74 with 18 seconds to play, junior guard D'Monta Harris made the biggest play of the night. RSU's Jordan Johnson drove the lane looking to pull even. Harris came from behind to stuff Johnson's would-be game tying shot before freshman guard Trae Jones pounced on the loose ball.

The Hirschi High School product connected on both free throws after a Hillcats foul to essentially ice the game with under 10 seconds to play.

The Hillcats were led by Tavian Davis with a game-high 16 points while Tate Turner, Saint Hilaire and Chase Littlejohn each added 10.
