KINGSVILLE, Texas – Junior
Sarah Eakin completed her historic 2018 campaign with a career performance on the road at Texas A&M-Kingsville. The hometown product out of Wichita Falls High School finished with a season-high nine blocks to finish the season atop the single season charts averaging 1.30 blocks per set.
Midwestern State was unable to parlay a season-best 17 block effort into a win against the Javelinas, dropping a five-set decision, 3-2 (18-25, 25-21, 21-25, 25-23, 13-15). The Mustangs concluded the year with a 5-23 overall mark and 3-17 in Lone Star Conference play.

Lauren Honeycutt each added a season-best seven rejections for the Maroon and Gold.

Erin Richburg and sophomore
Sarah Glawe each notched double-doubles in the loss. Richburg boasted a team-high 14 kills and 18 digs while Glawe handed out 43 assists and 11 digs. Freshman
Samantha Manio posted her third career match with at least 20 digs with an even 20 against the Javelinas.

Jaycie Fuller (10) rolled up stellar defensive performances for the Mustangs.
MSU Texas outhit the Javelinas in the decisive fifth set - .263 to .238 – but a late 6-2 run by TAMUK proved to be the difference maker.
TAMUK's Madison Brabham tallied her NCAA DII leading 12
th triple-double of the season to lead the Javelinas with 12 kills, 26 assists and 17 digs.
