WICHITA FALLS, Texas – No. 4 Midwestern State takes its 32-match unbeaten streak on the road this weekend, traveling to St. Edward's and Oklahoma Christian on Thursday and Saturday.
 
Storylines
Like the Energizer Bunny
The Mustangs surpassed the previous program record of 26-consecutive matches without a loss by taking down Rogers State on Sept. 13 and ran the streak to 32 in a 3-1 rout of Lubbock Christian. MSU Texas became the ninth team in NCAA Division II history to go at least 32 matches without suffering a loss and first since Southern New Hampshire's 37-match streak ended in 2014.
 
The Maroon and Gold matched Cal State Dominguez Hills for the eighth-longest streak in NCAA DII history and can match Fort Lewis (33) and Tampa (34; twice) for the fifth and seventh longest streaks.

On The Road Again
The Maroon and Gold hit the road for the second-straight weekend. MSU Texas faced No. 15-ranked Fort Hays State in a neutral site affair on Sept. 6 and Oklahoma Baptist on the road Sept. 8 in the Mustangs lone trip from the friendly confines of Stang Park. The Mustangs took down UTPB 2-0 and Lubbock Christian 3-1 this past weekend
 
MSU Texas is unbeaten in its last 13 road and neutral site contests, going 12-0-1.
 
Sharing The Wealth
MSU Texas boasts the 20th most potent offense in NCAA DII and second best in the Heartland Conference, averaging 2.67 goals per game.
 
The Mustangs have been balanced offensively with 13 different players combining for 23 goals this season. Additionally, eight different players have contributed assists, including six with multiple dimes on the season.
 
Suffocating Defense
In nine matches this season, the back line of the Mustangs has surrendered just 21 shots on goal in 830 minutes of action.
 
Seniors Nathan Clark and Alex Mullet, juniors Dylan Burke, Rory O'Keeffe and Koby Sapon-Amoah along with sophomore keeper Taylor Lampe are holding opponents to a 0.65 GAA.
 
Lampe and Sapon-Amoah are the lone defenders to have started all seven games for the Mustangs this season.
