WICHITA FALLS, Texas – Midwestern State begins its final week of play in 2018, making a trip to Cameron on Tuesday. The Mustangs and Aggies meet for the 58th time in the Red River Rivalry series at 5:30 p.m. in Lawton.

The Mustangs' top four hitters set season highs against the Aggies to snap a 13-match losing streak on Oct. 2 in a 3-1 win at D.L. Ligon Coliseum. Freshmen

Conference Outlook
Midwestern State was mathematically eliminated from the Lone Star Conference Tournament with its loss on Saturday to No. 11 Tarleton State.
Building Blocks
The 16.0 blocks by the Mustangs in the 3-0 loss to UTPB on Oct. 20 matched the second-most in program history and fifth-most in an NCAA Division II three-set match this season. MSU Texas lost all three sets to the Falcons by two points. Junior
Sarah Eakin set a career-high with the fifth-most blocks in a three-set match, tallying eight rejections including four of the solo variety.
Can You Dig It?

Samantha Manio has come on strong in the last month of the season. The Allen native has posted double-digit digs in 10 of her last 14 matches, including a pair of contests with 20+ digs. She leads the Mustangs with 2.91 digs per set this season.
Manio has proved to be a weapon from the service line with eight aces in the last seven matches.

Sarah Glawe ranks 12th in MSU Texas history with 957 career assists. She is 417 away from Kimberly Jeffrey's 11th place mark of 1,374.
Glawe's career 7.31 assists per set is the ninth best in school history, matching

Kristan Aduddell (2011-12, 16-17) by 0.49.

Sarah Eakin anchored the middle of the defense for the Mustangs with 17 blocks against UTPB and WNMU. Eakin matched a season-high with seven rejections against WNMU before breaking her own mark with eight against UTPB.
Her eight blocks against UTPB matched the fifth most in a three-set match in school history while her seven in the match with WNMU tied the 10th most in a three set contest.
Eakin's LSC leading 24 solo blocks and 81 assisted blocks each rank 15th on the MSU Texas single season list while her 105 total blocks rank 14th all-time.
The junior's 1.28 blocks per set this season would be a new program record and is the second-best in the LSC this year as well as the 15th best in NCAA DII. Eakin has tallied seven or more blocks in five matches this season, including four of her last six outings.
Hammerin' Honeycutt
Freshman
Lauren Honeycutt has at least six kills in seven of her last 10 matches. The Round Rock native has gone for at least 10 kills in two of the last three outings, hitting at a season-high .500 on 20 swings against the TexAnns.
Rich Get Richer

Erin Richburg needs 54 kills to join the 500 kill/500 dig club with MSU Texas after earning her 500th career dig in Tuesday's match against TWU. The Rowlett native has 12 matches with at least 10 kills this season, adding on six double-doubles. Richburg has racked up double-digit kills in nine of the last 12 matches.
That's So Raven
Sophomore
Raven Presley has followed up her frosh campaign with big-time performances in year two. The Richardson product averages 2.24 kills per set and nine matches with at least 10 kills.
