Storylines
Comeback for the Ages
After falling behind 1-0 in the match against Eastern New Mexico, the Maroon and Gold flipped a switch late in the second set to turn the tides. ENMU started the set with an 8-0 run and expanded it to 17-1 and eventually 22-4.

Sarah Glawe went to work from the service line, firing three straight aces to close the gap to 23-11. Richburg followed with four of the next five kills by the Mustangs. Even with the strong push, MSU Texas faced set point, down 24-16.

A trio of blocks from Raven Presley and Eakin, along with seven attack errors by the Greyhounds allowed the Mustangs to eventually pull out the set, 26-24.

Mustang Mashup
Erin Richburg, Raven Presley and Addy Cook combined for 32 of the team's 39 kills in the first meeting with WNMU this season. Richburg led the charge, putting down 13 kills while Presley added 10.

Shot of Youth
Of the 12 players to see action through the first 21 matches of the season, 10 are underclassmen, including six freshmen. Juniors Sarah Eakin and Erin Richburg are the lone upperclassmen on the roster.

Glawe Climbing Up The Charts
Redshirt sophomore Sarah Glawe cracked the top 15 for career assists with the 49 dime outburst against Cameron and a 37-assist performance last Saturday against the Javelinas. The Allen native needs 30 to match Taryn Westerman's 12th place mark of 830 set from 2010-11.

Glawe moved into the top-10 on career assists per set after playing in her 100th set last Saturday. The sophomore's 7.02 mark is the 10th highest in program history while her 6.88 assists per set this season ranks third in the Lone Star Conference.

Brick Wall
Junior Sarah Eakin is in the midst of one of the best defensive seasons in program history. The Wichita Falls native ranks 22nd in NCAA DII and third in the LSC with 1.21 blocks per set, the highest mark in MSU Texas' single season history ahead of Lauren Bayer, 1.20, 2010. The Florida Atlantic transplant needs three more blocks to pass Erin Adkins (2001-02) for 13th on the all-time list with 190. Her career 1.06 average blocks per set is the second-best in program history, trailing only Lauren Bayer's 1.14 from 2009-10.

Manio Digging for Gold
Freshman Samantha Manio has eclipsed 10 digs for seven straight matches and is coming off a season-high 25 against the Greyhounds. The Allen product has broken 20 twice on the streak adding 23 against Texas A&M-Kingsville.

Up Next
MSU Texas returns to the Dome for the final time in 2018 with its home finale against Texas Woman's on Tuesday, Oct. 23. First serve is tabbed for 6 p.m.
