Storylines
Last Time Out
The Mustangs played a pair of tight sets with No. 22 Texas A&M-Commerce on Tuesday in a 3-0 loss to cap a five-match homestand at D.L. Ligon Coliseum. Sophomore Raven Presley put down a season-high 14 kills and junior Sarah Eakin turned around seven blocks.

Previously On…
Sophomore Sarah Glawe notched a double-double in the first meeting with the Lady Buffs this season at D.L. Ligon Coliseum. Junior Erin Richburg led all players with a match-high 12 kills as the Mustangs held WT to a .165 hitting percentage in the 3-0 setback.

Freshman Taylor Anderson recorded three solo blocks in MSU Texas' 3-0 loss to ENMU earlier this season while Richburg matched a career high with 16 digs.

Shot of Youth
Of the 12 players to see action through the first 19 matches of the season, 10 are underclassmen, including six freshmen. Juniors Sarah Eakin and Erin Richburg are the lone upperclassmen on the roster.

Glawe Climbing Up The Charts
Redshirt sophomore Sarah Glawe cracked the top 15 for career assists with the 49 dime outburst against Cameron and a 37-assist performance last Saturday against the Javelinas. The Allen native needs 13 to match Hayden Blair's mark of 749 set in 2015 for the 13th-most in program history.

Glawe moved into the top-10 on career assists per set after playing in her 100th set last Saturday. The sophomore's 6.94 mark is the 10th-highest in program history while her 6.88 assists per set this season ranks third in the Lone Star Conference.

Brick Wall
Junior Sarah Eakin is in the midst of one of the best defensive seasons in program history. The Wichita Falls native ranks 24th in NCAA DII and third in the LSC with 1.18 blocks per set, the second-highest mark in MSU Texas' single season history (Lauren Bayer, 1.20, 2010). The Florida Atlantic transplant needs five more blocks to pass Shelbi Stewart (2009-12) for 14th on the all-time list with 180. Her career 1.05 average blocks per set is the second-best in program history, trailing only Lauren Bayer's 1.14 from 2009-10.

Up Next
MSU Texas returns to the Dome for the final time in 2018, beginning a three-match homestand on Friday against Western New Mexico.
