- Off to its best start since 2010, Midwestern State looks to push its unbeaten streak to 10 matches this weekend with road matchups against Texas A&M International and St. Mary's
- MSU's 8-0 start to the season is the third best for the program in its 46 seasons behind the 2010 squad's 12-0 start and a 10-0 mark for the 1987 team
- Midwestern sports a 4-0 mark in Heartland Conference play, sitting atop the league standings with No. 11 St. Edward's

- TAMIU's lone setback this season came to then-No. 23 St. Edward's, 1-0, in its conference opener
- Senior defender Alan Rivera has accounted for three of TAMIU's five goals on the year

- Junior forward Pato Botello Faz leads the Rattlers with 13 points and five goals for 31st nationally in points while senior midfielder Tommy Fogarty-Cameron has scored a team-high six goals with three game winners for eighth nationally
