  • Midwestern State closes the season with three matches this week traveling to face Dallas Baptist on Tuesday before return to the dome to take on Cameron on Friday and Texas A&M-Kingsville on Saturday.
  • The Mustangs celebrate the careers of five seniors prior to Friday's match against Texas A&M-Kingsville including setter Kristan Aduddell, defensive specialist Leah Lychock, defensive specialist Aerielle Edwards, outside hitter Meghan Bettis and middle blocker Addison Semer.
  • With three wins this week, the Mustangs can finish with better than a .500 season record for the first time since going 17-13 in 2013. MSU's 13 wins are the most since that 2013 campaign.

  • Senior setter Kristan Aduddell ranks second in the LSC with 10.16 assists per set (945) to pace the Mustangs offense this season. She stands fifth on MSU's all-time list with 3,123.
  • Aduddell ranks 55th in NCAA Division II assists per set (10.16) and is 63rd in overall assists with 945.
  • Senior Aerielle Edwards has helped the Mustangs hold opponents to a .180 hitting percentage on the year with an average of 4.93 digs per set to rank second in the league and 86th nationally.
  • Senior outside hitter Meghan Bettis leads the Mustangs with 256 kills this season with 2.88 kills per set to rank eighth in the LSC. She has 887 career kills to rank 13th on MSU's all-time list and is range of the Top 10. She is 11 from Sheila Farrar (12th/898/1987-88), 21 away from Geneva Hammond (11th/908/1987-90) and 44 away from Caitlin Wallace (10th/931/2010-13).
  • Bettis is followed on the offensive end by senior middle blocker Addison Semer (229 kills, 2.27/set) and junior outside hitter Rockelle Gholson (219 kills, 2.55/set).
  • At the service line, MSU leads the league with 1.61 aces per set (163) with two Mustangs ranking in the top 15 in the conference -- junior defensive specialist Kristin Silva (5th/0.34/set, 32) and senior libero Aerielle Edwards (7th/0.32/set, 31). Aduddell is MSU's active career leader with 102 service aces which is 11th on the all-time list – Kari Kitchens is 10th with 105 aces from 1992-95.
  • Dallas Baptist has won four of the last five to up its season record to 10-14. The Patriots are tied for fourth in the Heartland Conference at 5-6.
  • Senior middle blocker Sidnee Jo Fitzpatrick leads the DBU attack with 2.07 kills per set, while junior outside hitter Alexa Lezek adds 2.00 kills per set.
  • Midwestern State owns a 36-19 edge in its series with Dallas Baptist, but the Patriots have won nine of 12 dating back to the 2008 season. MSU claimed a five-set win against DBU in its last trip to the Berg Center on Sept. 9, 2014.
  • Cameron (7-20, 3-15) have dropped its last five and six of the last seven. The Aggies are 0-10 in road matches this season.
  • Junior outside hitter Paige Dixon ranks fourth in the LSC putting down 3.07 kills per set. She has double-figure kills in 17 of 27 matches this season.
  • Junior defensive specialist Brittnee Altic is seventh in the LSC at 4.41 digs per set. She has posted at least 20 digs on five occasions.
  • The Aggies own a 34-21 edge in its series versus Midwestern State. The Mustangs swept the season series in 2016, but CU claimed the first match of the 2017 campaign in Lawton.
  • Texas A&M-Kingsville bounced back from road losses against Texas A&M-Commerce and Angelo State with wins over UT Permian Basin and West Texas A&M last weekend in Kingsville.
  • Senior setter Casey Kobedans directs the LSC's third-best attack to a .226 kill percentage. She ranks third in the league with 9.89 assists per set.
  • The Javelinas boast four attackers averaging more than two kills per set including freshman outside hitter Shelby Sheets (2.86 kps), junior right-side hitter Madison Brabham (2.74 kps), senior outside hitter Krystal Faison (2.63 kps) and senior middle blocker Lexi Wick (2.29 kps).
  • Texas A&M-Kingsville holds a 20-11 edge in the all-time series with Midwestern State. The Javelinas have won the last seven meetings with the Mustangs' last victory coming in a sweep on Nov. 14, 2013 in Wichita Falls.
