- No. 11 Midwestern State embarks on its final road trip of the regular season this weekend as the 11th-ranked Mustangs take on UT Permian Basin and Lone Star Conference leader Angelo State
- The Mustangs made the biggest move in the United Soccer Coaches Women's Division II National Poll this week, jumping 13 spots from 24th to 11th for the program's highest ranking since achieving a program-best No. 10 on Oct. 6, 2009

- Senior midfielder Destinee Williamson leads the Mustangs offense and ranks second in the league with 18 points (5 goals, 8 assists), appearing seventh nationally in assists
- Freshman midfielder Kelly Cannistra, reigning LSC Offensive Player of the Week, tallied five points last weekend to move to 10 on the season with three goals and four assists
- Defensively, the Mustangs have totaled eight shutouts to rank 26th in the country in shutout percentage (.571)
- Senior goalkeeper Courtney Burnette paces the LSC in save (.854) and shutout percentage (.571), while coming in 32nd in the nation with 82 total saves and 38th in save percentage
- UT Permian Basin sits last in the LSC with a 1-12-1 overall record and 1-8-0 slate in conference action
- Junior forward Deonna Green leads the Falcons with three goals and six points this season
- Angelo State comes into Sunday's contest with the Mustangs on a four-match winning streak for a 10-2-1 overall record
- The Rambelles lead the LSC with 2.39 goals per game, paced by sophomore forward Trenadey Scott with 31 points (14 goals, 3 assists)
- Scott ranks first in the conference in points and goals scored while cracking the top 25 nationally in both categories
