WICHITA FALLS, Texas – No. 12 Midwestern State pushed its win streak to three matches Sunday afternoon following an 8-1 victory over in-region foe Colorado Mesa at the MSU Tennis Center.
After Midwestern State (5-1) came away with three doubles victories including a thrilling 9-8 (1) win on court two for Zach Santagate and
Dillon Pineda, the Mustangs collected straight-set wins from
Radu Popa at No. 3 singles and 39th-ranked
Ramon Toyos on court two to clinch the match.

Kyle Davidson stretched the MSU lead to 7-0 before Pineda won his team-best fourth-straight match with a super tiebreaker win on court five.
Colorado Mesa managed to escape with one point on the day as Trevor Brown defeated
Daniel Gallivoda, 6-7, 6-4, 10-7, at No. 6 singles for the 8-1 final.
Midwestern State next hosts No. 29 Southwest Baptist (Mo.) in a 1 p.m. match Wednesday at the MSU Tennis Center.
