FOR STARTERS
Midwestern State continues Lone Star conference play Tuesday with a trip up I-44 to Lawton, Okla., to take on an undefeated Cameron squad.

The Mustangs opened up LSC action Saturday, falling to Texas A&M-Kingsville, 3-1, on the road. Midwestern was led by sophomore outside hitter Meghan Bettis, who totaled 15 kills on a .300 hitting percentage. Junior libero Madelyn Johnson recorded a team-high 31 digs to tie for eighth in the program record books for digs in a four-set match.

SCOUTING THE AGGIES
- Cameron enters Tuesday's match with a perfect 9-0 record and 1-0 mark in LSC play after sweeping Texas A&M-Kingsville last week
- The Aggies are holding opponents to a league-best .143 hitting percentage while ranking fourth in the conference with a .213 clip
- Cameron tops the LSC with 20.82 digs per set, led by junior libero Ciandra Seabourn with 4.50 per set
- The Aggies are third in the conference in both kills (13.59/set) and assists (12.74)
- The Aggies are led by senior outside hitter Kat Evans, who is averaging 3.68 kills per set for fourth in the league

- Former Midwestern State assistant coach Natalie Burton was tabbed the eighth head volleyball coach in program history back on Mar. 24, 2015

- Junior defensive specialist Madelyn Johnson has helped bring some momentum to the Mustangs with her play at the service line this season
- Through 40 sets, the Alvin native is first in the LSC and tied for 14th nationally with 21 aces on the season
 
DISHING IT OUT
- True freshman setter Hayden Blair has had to adjust to the college game pretty quickly, taking over the reins as MSU's primary setter this season
- The McKinney product has posted a season-best 41 assists twice in wins over Pace (N.Y.) and Southwestern Oklahoma State
- Blair is averaging 8.98 assists per set for seventh in the LSC
 
BETTIS LEADING THE WAY
- Sophomore outside hitter Meghan Bettis has already surpassed her kill total (78) from the 2014 season, leading the Mustangs offense with 120 kills at 3.00 per set this season for ninth in the conference
- The Dripping Springs native has led the Mustangs in kills in six matches with a season-best 18 coming against Ouachita Baptist (Ark.)
