LAWTON, Okla. -- Midwestern State clinched its second straight Lone Star Conference championship in dominating style rolling to a 7-2 win over Cameron Wednesday afternoon at the Streich-Henry Family Tennis Complex.
The Mustangs close the regular season against Dallas Baptist in a Senior Day matchup Friday afternoon at the MSU Tennis Center. First serve is set for 1 p.m.
Pizza and drinks will be provided for fans following the conclusion of doubles' play.
MSU opens LSC Postseason Tournament play Friday, April 24 in Lawton with semifinal matchup at 10 a.m. at the Streich-Henry Familty Tennis Complex.

Kayla Casey rolled to an 8-2 win over Paula Gutierrez and Angie Torres at No. 1, while junior
Maddie Schorlemmer and sophomore
Paige Boykin blanked Eugenia Sanchez and Dejana Veljic 8-0 at No. 3.
Junior
Lauren Pineda and
Lindsay Nochowicz outlasted Samantha Wood and Magdalena Kovinic 11-9 in a tiebreaker at the No. 2 position.
"We did an excellent job starting matches today," MSU coach
Scott Linn said. "We did a great job carrying over momentum. It was a solid effort. We didn't give them anything at 4,5 and 6. Down low, if you have that kind of consistency, you will be tough."
The Mustangs, once again, displayed their depth with three crushing victories at the bottom of the order.
Sophomore
Courtney Anderson won her 10th-straight dual 6-0, 6-0 over Kovinic at No. 4 to improve to a stellar 35-4 in career singles' play.
Boykin won for the ninth time in 10 tries and also didn't give up a game in a 6-0, 6-0 win over Sanchez at No. 5 to improve to 30-8 in overall duals this season including singles and doubles matches.
Freshman
Carrie Casey turned in second straight superb performance winning 6-0, 6-1 over Veljic at the No. 6 spot to improve to 5-1 in singles play this season.
Coffman outlasted Torres, who came in carrying the region's No. 8 ranking, at the No. 2 spot 6-1, 5-7, 10-5 for her 40th career singles victory.
"Taylor rebounded from a tough loss yesterday to win a tight match today," Linn said. "Cameron was able to fight back and take a couple of matches so that says a lot about their toughness."
Gutierrez took a 6-3, 6-0 decision over MSU's
Kayla Casey at the No. 1 position, while Wood defeated Schorlemmer 6-4, 7-5 at No. 3.
Cameron fell to 12-7 on the season and 1-2 in league play.
