The second half saw the Lions make a dent in the MSU lead, trimming it to 15 after free throws by Abigail Leaupepe-Tele.
The Mustangs answered by raining more triples, building a 27 point lead with 12:10 left in the game. All told, MSU nailed another four 3-pointers in the second half.
