SCOUTING THE CRIMSON STORM

– The Crimson Storm snapped a five-match losing skid last week with league wins over Northwestern Oklahoma State and East Central (Okla.)
– Junior outside hitter McKenna Qualls paces the SNU offense with 183 kills (2.90/set) while junior middle blocker Courtney Bowie has totaled 126 (2.00/set) with a team-best .235 hitting percentage
– Qualls has also seen success at the service line, ranking 14th nationally with 30 aces and 48th with 0.48 aces per set
– Junior libero Abbey Bell has recorded 359 digs to rank 10th in the nation while coming in 20th with 5.70 per set

– The two teams split last season, each recording a 3-2 win at home

RAWSON ERA BEGINS
– Former Midwestern State assistant coach Natalie Rawson was tabbed the eighth head volleyball coach in program history back on Mar. 24, 2015

– Rawson spent three seasons as an assistant coach at MSU from 2010-12

MUSTANGS SPORT YOUTHFUL ROSTER IN 2015
– Rawson returns to a young roster in her first season back at Midwestern
– The Mustangs' roster features nine newcomers with eight true freshmen and one junior college transfer on the 18-member roster
