SCOUTING THE GREYHOUNDS
Eastern New Mexico rolls into the final weekend of the season after taking a loss and a draw in a pair of games with rival West Texas A&M last week. The Greyhounds close the campaign next Thursday at Lubbock Christian. Senior midfielder Kal Herbert leads the ENMU attack with seven goals while senior forward Eishu Kanemitsu adds five goals and five assists and senior midfielder Andy Wilkinson pitches in four goals and three assists. Senior midfielder Julian Roberts boasts a team-high nine assists. Freshman Severin Niessen has played every minute in goal for the Greyhounds this season posting a 1.46 goals against average with a .727 save percentage with three shutouts. Eastern New Mexico averages 1.94 goals per game and allows 1.50.
ABOUT THE SERIES
Midwestern State and Eastern New Mexico meet for the 21st time on the pitch Friday night at the MSU Soccer Field. The Mustangs own a commanding 17-1-2 edge in the series wich dates back to the 2004 season. MSU has won each of the 10 meetings between the programs in Wichita Falls.

SCOUTING THE JAGUARS
Houston-Victoria snapped a four-match winless streak with a 4-0 win over Huston-Tillotson back on Oct. 19 and have been idle since. The Jaguars are 4-1-2 in AII league play. Freshman forweard Daniel Lozano leads a deep offensive attack for UH-V with six goals and three assists while sophomore forward Christian Turman, junior midfielder Hector Gonzalez and junior midfielder Jhostan Padron each have tallied four goals as 14 different Jaguars have scored goals this season. Freshman goalkeeper Henrik Hundesruegge posts a 1.18 goals against average with a .763 save percentage with four shutouts.

Midwestern State and Houston-Victoria meet for the second time on the pitch Sunday afternoon at the MSU Soccer Field. The Mustangs claimed the first meeting of the series by a 4-1 margin last season.

Midwestern State remained seventh in the National Soccer Coaches' Association of America Division II Poll.
MSU IN THE REGIONAL RANKINGS
Midwestern State moved up one spot to No. 2 in the latest NCAA Division II South Central Region rankings released earlier this week. The Mustangs trail Colorado Mines while St. Edward's (Texas), Regis (Colo.) and Metro State (Colo.) rounds out the rankings at Nos. 3-5. The top three teams advance to the NCAA Division II postseason which kicks off the weekend of Nov. 14-16 at campus sites.
