SCOUTING THE LIONS
Texas A&M-Commerce has won three straight and five of its last seven. Junior all-around performer Amy Davault leads the Lions with 3.49 kills and 3.47 digs per set while senior right-side hitter Kayla Bond (2.76 kps), junior middle blocker Breanne Snyder (2.70 kps) and senior outside hitter Ciara Holmes (2.45 kps) round out A&M-C's diverse attack. Senior setter Jordan Neal ranks ninth in NCAA Division II with 11.65 assists per set while directing the Lions to a .207 team attack percentage. Junior libero Michaela Spicer adds 3.30 digs per set and Bond (0.89 bps) lead the Lions' defensive effort. A&M-Commerce ranks 13th in overall digs per set (18.36) and 18th in kills per set (13.74).

ABOUT THE SERIES
Midwestern State and Texas A&M-Commerce meet for the 30th time on the court Thursday night at the A&M-Commerce Fieldhouse. The Lions owns a 17-12 overall edge in the series, but MSU has fared well in Commerce winning eight of the 13 matches placed at The Fieldhouse.

Texas Woman's rebounded from dropping three of four matches to claim consecutive straight-set wins over Dallas Baptist and Tarleton State last week. TWU opens battle Cameron Friday night before taking on Midwestern on Saturday. The defensive minded Pioneers lead on the stellar blocking combo of senior middle blockers Marcela Alves and Chloe' Tate to rank sixth in the nation with 2.60 blocks per set as a team. Alves is 14th in NCAA Division II with 1.25 blocks per set, while Tate is 54th with 1.06. Junior libero Morgan Wilson leads back row play with 4.52 digs per set as Texas Woman's ranks 15th in the country with 18.26 digs per set. Tate (2.25 kps) leads a quartet of Pioneers averaging more than two kills per set and is joined by Alves (2.24 kps), senior right-side hitter Josie Santos (2.34 kps) and freshman outside hitter Mallory Kuechle (2.11 kps). Junior Kayla Rivero (5.62 aps) and freshman Kimberly Bell (4.91 aps) direct an attack which averages 12.40 kills per set with a .187 team attack percentage.

The top eight teams advance to the LSC Postseason Tournament set for Nov. 21-23 at the site of the regular season champion.
