SCOUTING THE AGGIES
Cameron snapped a five-match skid with a 3-0 sweep of St. Gregory's (Okla.) Tuesday night in Lawton. Sophomore OH Kelle Carver leads a pack of four Aggies averaging more than two kills per set with a 3.42 kills per set which ranks second in the Lone Star Conference. Sophomore OH Kat Evans adds 2.38 ups followed by freshman MH Kelsie Coplen (2.33 ups) and redshirt-freshman OH Grace Newkirk (2.15 kps). Freshman S Kayla Hebert directs the CU attack with 8.85 assists per set to help the Aggies to a .133 team hitting percentage. Sophomore DS Lauren Acuna leads back row play with 4.66 digs per set.

ABOUT THE SERIES
Midwestern State and Cameron meet for the 47th time on the court Saturday afternoon at Aggie Gym. CU owns a 30-16 edge in the series and is 16-5 against the Mustangs on its home court. However, Midwestern has won six of the last seven matches between the two programs including a sweep last season.
THE LSC RACE
Midwestern State (0-6) closes out the first half of Lone Star Conference play with matches at Cameron and Texas A&M-Kingsville. The Mustangs have their work cut out for a return to postseason tournament play as the team stands five games back in the loss column to Texas A&M-Commerce and Eastern New Mexico . Cameron is in a similar position at 0-5. Currently, Angelo State, Texas Woman's and Tarleton State sit atop the league with matching 3-0 marks followed by West Texas A&M (2-0), Texas A&M-Commerce (2-1), Eastern New Mexico (2-1), Texas A&M-Kingsville (1-3), Cameron (0-5) and MSU (0-6). The top six teams qualify for the 2013 LSC Postseason Tournament set for Nov. 21-23 at the site of the regular season champion.
