SCOUTING THE LIONS
Texas A&M-Commerce recovered from a two-game skid claiming results over Texas Woman's and Oklahoma Christian last week at home. Freshman forward Savannah Henderson and sophomore forward Jade Bell tallied goals within the opening 22 minutes of play in a 2-0 win over TWU on Friday then six different players found the back of the net in a dominating 6-0 victory Sunday over Oklahoma Christian. Henderson leads the A&M-Commerce attack with six goals and five assists while Bell and fellow sophomore forward Anitra Wright add three goals each. Senior forward Brionna Minde continues to be a force for the Lions with two goals and five assists. Freshman goalkeeper Callie Ballard boasts a 0.76 goals against average with four shutouts in 10 starts between the posts.
ABOUT THE SERIES
Midwestern State and Texas A&M-Commerce meet for the 29th time on the pitch Friday night at the MSU Soccer Field. The Mustangs hold a 17-8-3 advantage in the series that dates back to MSU's first match in program history in 1995. Midwestern is 8-2-2 all time against the Lions on its home pitch and has claimed the last seven meeting between the teams dating back to the 2008 campaign.

SCOUTING THE PIONEERS
Texas Woman's is 1-4-1 over its last six games heading into its weekend trip which begins Friday night at Angelo State. The Pioneers lone victory over the run, ironically, came against LSC leading Angelo State by a 2-1 margin two weeks ago in Denton. Thirteen different players have scored goals for TWU this season led by freshman forward Alisa Velasquez, who has logged four goals and three assists for the Pioneers. Junior forward Emily Davila and freshman Gabrielle Larson have scored three times while senior defender Tareyn Blanton contributes two tallies. Junior Lindsey Sisco allows a 1.40 goals against average with a .772 save percentage in 837 minutes and 10 starts as TWU's primary goalkeeper.

Midwestern State and Texas Woman's meet for the 15th time on the pitch Sunday afternoon at the MSU Soccer Field. The Mustangs own a 10-2-2 edge in the series which dates back to the 2002 season. Midwestern is 6-1 against the Pioneer in games played in Wichita Falls.
