KINGSVILLE, Texas - Mallory Mooney's bases loaded, bases clearing double highlighted a six-run second inning as Midwestern State held on for its seventh straight win 10-7 over Texas A&M-Kingsville Friday night in Game 1 at Hubert Field.

Â
Christina Roosmalen and
Courtney Ford reached on singles before
Carey Campbell loaded the bases on a walk.
Kim Jerrick and
Elena Bennett drove in runs on an infield single and a hit batsman respectively before Mooney cleared the bases with a double to center field.
Â

Brenna Hennan, who allowed three runs on four hits in three inning with four strikeouts before giving way to
Lindsi Glenn.
Â
The Javelinas benefited from a pair of balk calls on illegal pitches in the fourth inning to pull within 6-4.

Glenn improved to 18-10 on the season while allowing four runs - all earned - on seven hits with three strikeouts and two walks in four innings of relief.
Â
Bingham and Roosmalen paced the Mustangs' 14-hit attack with three hits each while Jerrick, Bennett and
