WICHITA FALLS, Texas - Savannah Carver poured in 20 points for the third consecutive game to lead Midwestern State to a 76-65 Lone Star Conference win over Incarnate Word Wednesday night at D.L. Ligon Coliseum.
The win was the 10th consecutive victory for the Mustangs at D.L. Ligon Coliseum as they improved 17-4 on the season and to 3-2 in league play.

With a win on Saturday at Texas A&M-Kingsville, the Mustangs will play Tarleton State for the conference lead Monday night at D.L. Ligon Coliseum.

Midwestern led by as many nine points in the opening half, but Incarnate Word clawed back to within 35-32 at intermission.
