Comfort Inn Presents Ashbrook Classic Tournament Central
WICHITA FALLS, Texas -- Midwestern State plays host to the four-team Comfort Inn Suites/Ashbrook Classic Friday and Saturday at D.L. Ligon Coliseum.
The Mustangs lead a field which includes McMurry (Texas) out of the Heartland Conference while Colorado Mines and Fort Lewis (Colo.) make the Texas Two-Step this weekend out of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.

Colorado Mines hit the road to take a pair of wins in Alaska last weekend taking an 80-74 decision over defending West Region champion Alaska-Anchorage before upending Alaska-Fairbanks 87-73.
Junior forward Allie Grazulis and senior guard Angie Charchalis paced the Orediggers averaging 21 and 19 points each while junior guard Courtney Gallo (14 points) and sophomore guard Danielle Skinner (11.5 points) add double digit support.
Colorado Mines posted a 12-17 mark in 2011-12.
Fort Lewis is fresh off of a 26-5 showing last season and will make their 2012-13 debut Friday night against McMurry.
The Skyhawks return seven letter winners off of last season's Central Region semifinalist squad including a trio which combined for 61 starts in senior guard Katerina Garcia (7.6 points), junior guard Ashley Kuchar (7.1 points), and senior guard Alex Easterbrook (4.5 points).
Junior guard Erika Richards is FLC's top returning scorer pouring in 10.2 points in 18.6 minutes in 31 games all in a reserve role last season.
The Skyhawks also return sophomore guard Erin Curry, sophomore forward Kaile Magazzeni and junior forward Christie Groh.
McMurry (0-2) continues its tough early season slate falling to Midwestern State and NAIA No. 1 Lubbock Christian last week.
Freshman forwards Claire Bruffey and Ana Dominguez lead the Warhawks scoring 10 points a game.
McMurry opens the tournament against Fort Lewis (Colo.) Friday night before taking on Colorado Mines on Saturday. Both games tip at 5 p.m.
