The RiverHawks (7-2) begin the toughest stretch of their schedule Friday at No. 20 Incarnate Word before heading to Wichita Falls to take on 24th-ranked Midwestern State on Sunday. ABOUT THE MUSTANGS
Midwestern State (5-1-2) returns to the comfortable confines of the MSU Soccer Field for a pair of games this weekend. The Mustangs boast a 42-1-3 mark on their venerable home pitch since the start of the 2008 season as a part of a 45-match unbeaten streak snapped earlier this season. MSU takes on Southern Nazarene for the first time since 1997 on Friday and have claimed the wins each of their last 11 matches against its Sunday opponent -- Northeastern State. Forwards

VcMor Eligwe have led a resurgence for the Mustangs' over the last three matches. Midwestern has scored 11 goals during the stretch including three by
Smith and two by
Eligwe. MSU had just six total goal in the five previous games. The Mustangs continue a strong defensive legacy topping the nation in shutout percentage while ranking fourth in NCAA Division II with a 0.48 goals against average.

- The Mustangs have received a national ranking in 71 of the last 72 weeks in which it was NSCAA eligible.
- MSU has recorded clean sheets in four of its last five matches and in seven total games this season to lead all of NCAA Division II in shutout percentage at 0.75.
