 The top eight teams meet at the site of the regular season champion. The winner of the single elimination tournament receives the league's automatic qualification into the 2011 NCAA Division II Championship field.

MSU IN THE LSC CHAMPIONSHIPS

 Midwestern State is making its fifth consecutive appearance in the Lone Star Conference Championship and sixth overall showing.

The Mustangs are in search of their first LSC postseason victory having fallen to West Texas A&M twice and one time each to Cameron, Texas Woman's and Tarleton State.

Midwestern's last claimed a conference title when it won the Texas Intercollegiate Athletic Association in 1993.

Angelo State claimed wins in each of the team's two matchups this season.

ASU's Maddie Huth and Debbie Ohl put down 10 kills each in a 25-22, 25-18, 22-25, 25-22 win over the Mustangs on Oct. 8. Senior outside hitter

The Rambelles' Chelsea Gibson and Kaelen Valdez combined for 25 kills as Angelo State rolled to a 25-21, 25-12, 25-16 regular season ending win over Midwestern last weekend at Junell Center. MSU junior
Shelbi Stewart paced the Mustangs with 10 kills, while Jordan notched 22 digs.
