TOPEKA, Kan. - No. 34 Midwestern State snapped a three-match skid with a 6-3 win over Washburn (Kan.) Tuesday afternoon at the WU Tennis Courts.

Faye D'Hamecourt defeated Alyssa Castillo/Whitley Zitsch 8-5 at No. 2 and
Alex Odell-Michels/
Collean Kinser beat Amanda Gayer/Annie Doole 8-3 at No. 3.
Midwestern put away the match with four singles' wins as Odell-Michels battled to take a tough decision over Trang LeNguyen 1-6, 6-3, 6-7 at No. 1 to lead the effort.
The Mustangs took straight-set wins at Nos. 4-6 as D'Hamecourt rolled Castillo 6-3, 6-3, Kinser blanked Doole 6-0, 6-0 and Banas whipped Gayer 6-2, 6-0, respectively.
MSU evened its regular season mark at 5-5 while Washburn fell to 3-1.
