ABILENE, Texas – Midwestern State opens as the No. 7 seed against No. 2 Northeastern State Friday morning at Rose Park. First serve is set for 9 a.m.
With a win, the Mustangs (10-7) advance to the semifinals Friday afternoon at 3 p.m. They would face the winner of the Tarleton State-Central Oklahoma match which also be Friday morning at Rose Park.
Midwestern dropped an 8-1 decision to Northeastern State on April 12 at the Dallas Baptist Tennis Courts. Junior
Faye D'Hamecourt provided the Mustangs their lone win, defeating Michaela Romanova 7-6, 6-4 at No. 4 singles.
The semifinal winners advance to the championship Saturday morning at the Eager Tennis Center on the campus of Abilene Christian which will begin at 11:15 a.m.
