GOODWELL, Okla. - Midwestern State combined for nine blocks and had eight service aces to cruise to a 30-21, 30-11, 30-7 win over Oklahoma Panhandle State here Saturday afternoon.
Sophomore
Alysha Pritt led the block party with five total blocks, while
Sesley Graves added four and
Whitney Maxwell had two.
Junior
Katie Guehler added a great service match with five aces, while only committing one service error, while junior
Shay Velasquez had the other three aces.
Velasquez also paced the Mustangs with 13 digs, while Pritt led the Mustangs with nine kills.
Midwestern State, which improved to 18-3, will face College of the Southwest Monday night at D.L. Ligon Coliseum. Start time is set for 5 p.m.
