SAN ANGELO, Texas - Midwestern State's
Allison Schreiber paced the Mustangs to a 3-1 win over Angelo State with 43 set assists, 17 digs and five kills at the Fairfield Inn/Staybridge Suites Invitational Friday night at Junell Center/Stephens Arena.
The Mustangs rallied for 30-27, 30-25 and 30-23 wins after the Rambelles claimed the opening game 30-28.

Krissa Johnson paced MSU with 15 kills with a .225 attack percentage, while sophomore middle blocker
Alysha Pritt added 13 kills on 36 total attacks.

Shay Velasquez led Midwestern with 18 digs.
MSU closes out the Fairfield Inn/Staybridge Suites Invitational with matches against New Mexico Highlands and Texas-Brownsville at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., respectively, before making its home debut Tuesday night against Wayland Baptist at D.L. Ligon Coliseum.
The Mustangs improved to 3-2 on the season, while the Angelo State fell to 0-5.
