WICHITA FALLS, Texas – The Midwestern State University Mustangs lost a key Lone Star Conference North Division game to Cameron University, 3-1, Thursday night.
Cameron won the match 30-28, 22-30, 30-21, 31-29.
Midwestern (11-12, 2-5) was lead on the court by
Shay Velasquez, who had 16 kills.
Sesley Graves and
Krissa Johnson each added nine kills, while
Allison Schreiber had 43 assists to go with her three kills.
Outstanding players for the Aggies (19-3, 5-2) were Taran Turner and Fernanda Queiroz.
The Mustangs will be home again on Saturday, when the host Central Oklahoma, the top team in the LSC North. The match will begin at 2 p.m.
