AUSTIN, Texas – The hard-luck season of Midwestern State University women's soccer continued Sunday as St. Edward's University scored in the 87th minute to beat MSU 1-0 in non-conference action at the SEU Soccer Field.
St. Ed's Kristen Gaskoyne scored the winner off an assist by Monica Hernandez at 86:24. It was one of three shots by SEU on the day. MSU was credited with four attempts.

Elli O'Dwyer chalked up two saves on the afternoon. SEU keepers Alexis Adams and Heather Koudelka combined for the shutout without recording a save.
MSU opens Lone Star Conference play on Wednesday night when they host 17th ranked Texas A&M-Commerce in a 7 p.m. contest at the MSU Soccer Field.
