EDMOND, Okla. – The University of Central Oklahoma got a goal in each half to defeat Midwestern State University 2-0 in Lone Star Conference women's soccer Friday afternoon at Tom Thompson Field.
UCO (13-3-1, 7-0-1) maintained it's lead in the conference standings, while MSU (7-8-1, 5-3) remained in third in the league standings.

UCO added the insurance goal in the 82nd minute on Lindsey Hull's goal off the assist from Carmen Davis.
O'Dwyer recorded two saves for MSU, while allowing the two goals on the 10 UCO shots.
UCO goal keeper Carly Fischer recorded four saves on the six MSU shots in recording the shutout.
MSU closes the regular season on Sunday as the Lady Indians visit Southwestern Oklahoma State at 4 p.m. The Lone Star Conference Tournament is in Edmond, Okla., next weekend.
