Melvin Clark joins the athletic administrative staff at Midwestern State for the 2014-15 academic year.
He will assist in the day-to-day operations of the department with an emphasis on marketing, promotions and fund raising. Clark also serves as liaison for MSU's student athletic support club -- the Stang Gang.
Clark completed his playing career as a four-year letter winner for the Mustangs from 2007-12. He was a part of 110 wins during his career which is the most for any single player in school history.
Clark was a member of three NCAA Division II Elite Eight teams and three Lone Star Conference championship squads.
He earned a bachelor of art in mass communications with a minor in public relations in 2013. He is working toward a master's degree in sports administration.
