Amanda Raso enters her first season as a graduate assistant coach at Midwestern State after enjoying a successful collegiate playing career.
Raso played a key role in helping Fort Lewis to three NCAA Division II playoff appearances as a two-year starter at goalkeeper.
She limited opponents to a 0.77 goals against average as a junior in 2012 while posting an 11-3-2 overall record between the posts with seven shutouts.
Raso made 21 starts while helping the Skyhawks to the postseason with a stellar 14-3-4 mark allowing a 1.03 goals against average.
As a reserve, she was a part of Fort Lewis' run to the NCAA Division II Elite Eight as a freshman in 2010 and was a member of the Skyhawks national tournament squad as a senior in 2013.
She closed her career ranking amongst FLC all-time leaders in winning percentage (.757), victories (25), goals against average (0.946), shutouts (11), games played (41), minutes played (3,424) and saves (123).
The 2010 graduate of Smoky Hill High School in Aurora, Colo. earned her bachelor's degree from Fort Lewis in 2014. She is pursuing a master's degree at MSU.
