competed in nine games as a reserve defensive lineman... compiled nine tackles including four solo stops, 1 1/2 tackles for loss, a half of a quarterback sack, and one quarterback hurry... made season-high four tackles and was in on a sack in a 41-37 win at Texas A&M-Kingsville (11/5)... registered a tackle for loss in a 24-23 win at UT Permian Basin (10/22)... also recorded a tackle against Colorado State-Pueblo (9/3), Eastern New Mexico (9/10), and West Texas A&M (10/8)...

At Heritage High School

a three-year starter at linebacker and the defensive line for coach Lee Wiginton at Heritage High School in Midlothian, Texas... two-team Texas Sportswriters' Association Class 4A All-State performer earning honorable mention in each of his junior and senior seasons... earned All-District 5-4A Division I first-team honors at defensive end making 46 tackles with eight stops for loss and seven sacks as a senior in 2020 helping Jaguars to a 9-3 record, a district title and on to the regional round of the UIL Texas Class 5A Division I playoffs... enjoyed stellar junior campaign in 2019 closing season with 71 tackles with 19 stops for loss and 9.5 sacks to earn All-District 9-4A Division I first-team honors at defensive end.... helped HHS to a 10-4 record, a district title and a UIL Texas Division I state quarterfinal showing... earned All-District 9-4A Division I first-team accolades as an outside linebacker as a sophomore in 2018 making 67 tackles with seven stops for loss helping Jaguars to an 11-2 record, a district title and to the UIL Texas Class 5A Division I regional round...
