three-year letter winner and two-year starter at linebacker for coach Sam Harrell at Ennis (Texas) High School... a first-team All-District 8-5A Division II first-team selection at outside linebacker as a senior in 2020 finishing campaign with 80 tackles including seven stops for loss and two quarterback sacks... helped Lions to a 9-1 record and a district championship advancing to the regional round of the 2020 Class 5A Division II playoffs... earned All-District 8-5A Division II first-team honors as an outside linebacker as a junior in 2019 posting 92 tackles including 11 stops for loss, three quarterback sacks and two interceptions... helped EHS to a 12-2 mark and a district title in 2019 advancing to the UIL Texas Class 5A Division II state quarterfinals... promoted to varsity three games into his sophomore season playing on special teams and in a reserve role at linebacker... earned Texas High School Coaches' Association (THSCA) Academic All-State second-team honors following senior season... a member of the National Honor Society... finished with a 95 average or above in four-or-more classes in each of his high school academic years...
