- scored season-high eight points in 10 minutes against Northeastern State on Jan. 3, 2008 then matched the point total at Eastern New Mexico on March 1, 2008.
- pulled in season-best seven rebounds in four-overtime, 127-124 win over No. 12 Emporia State on Dec. 20, 2007 at D.L. Ligon Coliseum.

- earned All North Texas Junior College Conference honors as a two-year starter for coach Tony Starnes.
At Arlington Heights High School
- earned all-district honors as a three-year starter at point guard for coach Troy Bell at Arlington Heights High School in Fort Worth, Texas.
- recorded three triple-doubles as a senior.
- earned all-district accolades and started three seasons as a wide receiver on the gridiron.
