- a three-sport standout at Bangs (Texas) High School.
- earned three letters and started two seasons in the outfield for coach Scott Freeman.
- a first-team All-District 6-2A selection as a junior and senior helping the Lady Dragons to a the regional finals in 2014 after reaching the bi-district round in 2013.
- helped BHS to the area round in volleyball as the District 6-2A Blocker of the Year in 2013 and was a second-team all-league pick as a junior for coach Colleen Westfall, who played volleyball at MSU from 2003-04.
- also earned first-team all-district accolades while leading the Lady Dragons to the area round of the 2014 basketball playoffs as a senior.
